ORAL PRESENTATION GUIDELINES
Each session will have 3-5 presentations. Each presentation should last no longer than 15-17 minutes, followed by 3-5 minutes of questions and answers(Q&A). Each session will be chaired by a selected individual who will be responsible for keeping the schedule on time and to moderate Q&A.
Please make sure to be in the correct conference room at least 15 minutes before the time designated to your talk. One of the event organizers will assist in setting up your presentation.
All presenters will have a comfort monitor to easily view their slides during your presentation. A laser pointer will be available for slide control, and a tie-clip microphone will be provided for your audio. For the Q&A sessions, assistants will circulate with hand-held microphones for audience questions. A technical support staff member will be present throughout the event to assist with any issues that may arise.
FORMAT/SIZE OF PRESENTATION SLIDES
Your presentation slides should be 16:9 in size. Microsoft PowerPoint or pdf files are accepted. If you are using other software to prepare your presentation please get in touch (iahr-issf2025@symposium.it) so that we can test whether it will work in advance and make sure each session will run smoothly.
When preparing your presentation please consider the following accessibility guidelines:
- Please use the widescreen (16:9) slide size.
- Limit the amount of text per slide to allow for increased font size and provide enough time for all delegates to read content.
- Strong contrast should be used between text colour and background.
- Sans serif fonts (e.g. Arial, Calibri, Verdana etc) should be used where possible, in 18pt or larger.
- Images should include a caption that describes the image but does not overlay the image.
All conference rooms will have access to a laptop or PC. Technical support will be provided to help you setting up your presentation if required
WHEN AND HOW CAN I UPLOAD MY PRESENTATIONS
We request all presenters to send us their presentation by email to email address by 5pm on 08 September 2025with the following header:
ISSF6_ID_ABSTRACT_YOUR FULL NAME
You should also bring a copy of your presentation on USB, just to be on the safe side.
